Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe that is home to more than one million people. Bulawayo has a very interesting history. It was founded by Ndebele King, Lobengula the son of King Mzilikazika Matshobana who settled in modern day Zimbabwe in the 1840s.

When the city became the centre of imperialist intrigue, the European inhabitants came from Britain to take over and further develop it. Today, this “City of Kings” has residents who can speak more than three languages including Zuku, Xhosa, Zulu, English and Sotho. The Museum of Natural History is arguably the largest museum in the whole of Southern Hemisphere.
